What this event is: Each week's most-liked catch goes to the final, and the final's most-liked catch over its three days is the Catch of the Month. A tie goes to the catch posted first.
How catches are checked: Honour system, just for fun - nothing is checked

Rules & details
- Every catch you post to the public feed in the app with its species is in, the moment it is posted, whatever day the fish was caught. There is nothing to join.
- Local Intel posts and photo-only posts stay out. A post taken off the feed leaves the event.
- The month runs as four weekly heats, then a three-day final. A catch is in the week it was posted in; one posted during the final counts toward the month's badges but not toward a heat.
- Each week goes to the catch with the most likes when the week closes; a tie goes to the catch posted first.
- The four heat winners meet in the final. The finalist whose post gains the most likes in those three days is the Catch of the Month; a tie goes to the catch posted first.
- Likes are the feed's own likes, given in the app.
- Numbered, dated badges go to everyone with a catch in it, each heat winner, the four finalists, the Catch of the Month, and the anglers with the most species and the most catches posted that month.
- Heat winners go on Fishing Codex's Facebook and Instagram every Monday.
- Free, worldwide, honour system, no cap.
