For guides, charters and makers

Advertise your fishing trips, charters and guiding free, worldwide

Post your business in the Fishing Codex Directory. It is free to post and written in your own words, with your photos, your link and your contact. Anglers get in touch with you directly, and every booking stays yours.

A Directory post is a public page for your guiding, charter or fishing business. You write what you offer and where you fish, add your photos and a note about cost in your own words, and link to your own site or shop.

You keep every booking and every sale. Fishing Codex takes no cut, handles no payment and holds no bookings: whatever you charge, you arrange with the angler directly.

Booking sites commonly take a commission on each trip they bring you, often 10% or more. A Directory post carries no commission.

It is not booking software. There is no calendar, no checkout and no deposit. Your post is where anglers find you, and the booking happens your way.

  1. Sign in on fishingcodex.com with a one-time code sent to your email, or with Google or Apple. There is no password.
  2. Post your business: a name, what you offer, where you are or where you go, your photos, a cost note and your link. You choose how long it shows.
  3. Anglers browsing the Directory see what you offer and where, then contact you through your own link or by message in the Fishing Codex app.

Real posts, as anglers see them.

What does it cost to post?

Nothing. Posting in the Directory is free, and Fishing Codex takes no cut of any trip or sale that comes from it.

How do anglers pay me?

However you already take bookings. Fishing Codex has no checkout for Directory posts and never handles the money; you and the angler arrange payment directly.

Is this booking software?

No. There is no calendar, no deposit and no booking engine. Your post sends anglers to you, through your own site or shop or by message in the Fishing Codex app.

Which countries can I advertise in?

Any. The Directory is worldwide, and anyone can read it on fishingcodex.com without an account.

Can I show my prices?

Yes, in your own words, in the cost note on your post. Fishing Codex shows no price of its own.

How long does my post stay up?

Until the date you choose when you post it. You can edit the post afterwards.

Who arranges the trip itself?

You and the angler. The dates, what is included, the cost and how it is paid are agreed between you.
