Knowledge shared
Local Intel
What you know about fishing an area, written down for anglers who fish it too.
What it is
A Local Intel is an angler's knowledge about an area or a fishery: a harbour, a stretch of coast, a lake, a river. The timing, the gear, the technique, how to get in, and what an angler local to that water knows.
It is written about the area or the fishery, so what you are sharing is how to fish that water, not one afternoon on it. That is why it applies to a reader's whole season rather than to a single tide.
What's in one
You name the area properly, with the country, the region and the name of the water, so a reader and a search both know exactly where the knowledge applies.
Then you write under headings you control. Fishing Codex offers a standard set: timing, gear, technique, access and local knowledge. You keep the ones you want, drop the rest, and add up to ten of your own. A heading you leave empty never shows.
Photos come from your own library: any age, any origin, located or not. One of them becomes the cover, and that cover is the face of the intel everywhere it appears.
Found a shape that works? Save it as a format and start your next one from it. The format carries the shape only, never a word of what you wrote.
The easiest thing to share
Create an angler profile and you can write Local Intel about any water you know. All it asks is that you know the water. Everything else about it is up to you.
And old knowledge keeps its value: Local Intel has no window and no cut-off date. Any photo, of any age, can go in it, forever.
What a reader sees
Every Local Intel shows a real free sample before anyone pays: the written summary, plus one full section you choose. Nobody buys text sight unseen.
After that it is sold on its own, as a one-off purchase or, if you prefer, its own monthly or yearly subscription. A one-off buyer keeps the version they bought. A subscriber gets your latest version each time it renews, which means intel you keep current is worth keeping current.
Readers can review it, verified buyers only, and those stars sit on the intel and on your angler page.
