Connect Stripe so you can get paid
Stripe is the payments company behind millions of online shops. You verify your identity once, on Stripe's own secure pages — Fishing Codex never sees your bank or ID details. Buyers pay you directly: the money lands in your Stripe account, then your bank. Only publishing free entries? You can skip this step.
Publish your first entry
Pick a catch you logged in the app (it needs a photo) — during the one-time 90-day early-adopter window, entries imported from your own fishing history count too. Publish the entry free to build followers, or price it from $2.99 — a single entry, the live logbook subscription, or the whole logbook forever. The exact location stays hidden until someone unlocks or claims it.

- You must be 18 or older to sell.
- Fishing Codex takes a 15% platform fee; payment-processing (Stripe) fees also apply — anglers typically net around 80%.
- The exact location is never public — the map shows only a rough ~10 km area until an entry is unlocked or claimed.
- Free entries go live straight away, even before Stripe approves you.
- No exclusivity and no content commitments — you choose what to publish, and you can unlist any entry at any time.
- One entry can be unlocked by many anglers — your logbook keeps earning as you keep fishing.
