Create your angler profile
Pick a display name and a handle. That’s it — it’s free and takes about two minutes. Your profile is the public page where anglers follow you and unlock your entries.
Connect Stripe so you can get paid
Stripe is the payments company that handles the money for a great many online shops. You verify your identity once, on Stripe’s own secure pages — Fishing Codex never sees your bank or ID details. Buyers pay you directly: the money lands in your Stripe account, then your bank. Only publishing free entries? You can skip this step.
Publish your first entry
Pick a catch you logged in the app — it needs a photo. Publish it free to build a following, or price it from $2.99.

Good to know

Entries imported from your own fishing history can be published until Jan 2, 2027 — the same date for everyone. Importing itself never closes.
Words can be written on your laptop or phone. Photos go through the Fishing Codex app on your phone first — import them there, then pick them here.
You must be 18 or older to sell.
Fishing Codex takes the standard 15% platform fee; payment-processing (Stripe) fees also apply — anglers typically net around 80%.
Whoever claims or unlocks your entry gets its exact location, on their private map in the app. The public map shows a wide area to everyone.
Publishing an entry protects its area — roughly 500 m: 12 months for a paid entry, 90 days for a free one. Withdrawing the entry ends the protection early.
Free entries go live straight away, even before Stripe approves you.
You choose what to publish, and you can unlist any entry at any time.
One entry can be unlocked by many anglers, and your logbook grows with every trip you log.
